Summary

Companion Animal Partners - Richmond, VA - is seeking a seasoned full-time Associate Veterinarian to serve multiple clinics in our Richmond network of veterinary practices, including Fan Veterinary Clinic, Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, and Lucks Lane Veterinary Clinic for wellness exams, diagnostics, vaccinations, spays, neuters, non-specialty surgeries, and other general practice veterinary services. Our Rotating DVM rotates throughout our clinics to fill scheduling gaps, offer additional support, and enhance our patient care. The ideal candidate is a team-player who enjoys working with regularly with different teams, excels in medicine, dentistry, and surgery, and can effectively communicate and educate clients on the health and well-being of their pets.

PHILOSOPHY OF MEDICINE

We want our Veterinarians to practice the best medicine they can and in their own style. Management does not dictate any production quotas, and encourages our Veterinarians to do what they do best - practice good medicine and delivery quality care to our patients. Our Veterinarians are compensated with a generous flat salary (no ProSal), which is proven to improve the quality of medicine practiced, improve client trust, and diminish workplace toxicity. We will provide any and all tools, equipment, resources, and staff you need to do so. We value good medicine over good profits, and giving DVM’s the freedom to do what they do best.

SCHEDULE

DVMs are scheduled for 35 hours per week with a goal that you never go over 40 hours in any given week.

WEEKLY SELF-CARE PTO

Our DVMs are scheduled for 35 hours per week, but paid for 40 hours. Our goal is for our DVMs to have an extra paid half day each week for self-care, family time, or simply running errands. 5 hours per week adds up to 26 days each year!

At Companion Animal Partners, your success is our success. We offer a generous $5,000 CE Allowance so that our DVMs can continue to expand their knowledge and skillsets. We also offer salary increases as new skills are acquired.
